ABODE at Hargett offers 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath single-family homes for lease in Downtown Raleigh. Two floorplans are available, The Henri and The Hudsen, each approximately 1,585 square feet. Click here to view available inventory.

Single-family homes. You get the privacy of a detached home with the amenities and feel of a community.

The Hudsen includes a private first-floor office. The Henri trades that space for a larger living area. View the floorplans on each floorplan here.

Every home features an open-concept kitchen with a large island, 42" custom cabinetry, quartz countertops, a tile backsplash, stainless steel appliances with a gas range, and under-cabinet lighting. Homes also include LVP flooring throughout, dual vanity sinks, a walk-in frameless tile shower, closets with wood shelving, a tankless water heater, and a full-size washer and dryer.

Each floorplan is available with either gray or white cabinetry. Cabinet color can't be customized, but you can choose a home based on what's available at the time you lease.

Yes. Every home includes an attached one-car garage.

Garages are EV-charging capable. Residents may install a charger at their own expense and take it with them when they move out.

Yes. Every home has a private porch or fenced patio.

Through our partnership with Rently, every home includes keyless smart locks, a camera doorbell, and a smart thermostat. These are covered by the monthly amenity fee.

$60 per month. It covers the smart home package in every home, including the keyless smart lock, camera doorbell, and smart thermostat.

Yes. ABODE at Hargett is pet-friendly. Pets are subject to approval and breed restrictions, with a maximum of two pets per home.

A one-time, non-refundable fee of $300 per pet is due before move-in. Monthly pet rent varies based on the pet's breed and size.

Yes. Breed restrictions may be waived if you provide renter's insurance that includes bite liability coverage.

Assistance animals are not considered pets under North Carolina law and are not subject to pet fees, pet rent, breed restrictions, or the two-pet limit. Reasonable accommodation requests are reviewed separately.

The application fee is $150 per applicant. The administrative fee is $249 per lease.

To qualify, applicants must document gross combined monthly household income of at least three times the monthly rent. Guarantors and co-signers are accepted. We also review rental history, credit, and background as part of a consistent screening process applied to every applicant. Criminal history does not result in an automatic denial. When a record appears, we consider the nature and severity of the conduct, how much time has passed, and evidence of rehabilitation, and applicants are given an opportunity to provide additional context before a decision is made. Yes. You may provide your own policy or enroll in our master policy.

Water and sewer are billed back to you. Electricity, gas, and internet are placed in your name and paid directly to the provider.

Yes. Employees of our preferred employers receive waived application and administrative fees, plus a gift card to a Downtown Raleigh business. Restrictions apply.

Guests may use the designated parking area near the front of the community or your driveway. Daytime street parking is permitted as long as it doesn't block access.

Submit a request through your resident portal and a maintenance specialist will follow up. Maintenance is staffed seven days a week, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM Eastern Time.

ABODE maintains the landscaping in all common areas throughout the community. Residents are responsible for the upkeep of their own private patio or porch space.
